A Free Leadership Guide drives email signups

Entrust, a local nonprofit, wanted help with its branding because people kept asking, "What do you do?" For the record, Entrust provides personal, cutting-edge leadership resources for Christian leaders. 

Therefore, we developed a landing page and call to action, for a downloadable pdf. The pdf was based on one of Entrust's more popular courses, so not only did it clearly demonstrate Entrust's expertise, it also provided value to the customer. The pdf gave people something they wanted!

The pdf ended up being a great tool to entice website visitors to sign up for the email list.

As a small business owner, be careful of making too many "asks" of your customers. Start the relationship with a "give" and they'll be more inclined to say yes to the sales pitches that really matter.
